WE WILL BREAK THE JINX – JUTH FC MEDIA OFFICER

Media officer of JUTH FC of Jos, Olusola Alao has said his team will beat Warri Wolves to get the three points at stake and break the jinx of home team not winning at newly refurbish Rwang pam stadium in Jos.


Alao said JUTH FC will get the first win at the refurbished Rwang Pam stadium.

He said “We have been unbeaten since the season start, we have drew all our three games, two away and one home. We are set to claim our first three points of the season this weekend when we host Warri wolves, it will be an explosive encounter because Warri wolves is a good side like other teams we have played. No team has won home game at Rwang Pam this season, we are breaking that jinx this weekend by the grace of God”

JUTH FC of Jos Chief Coach, Tunde Abdulrahman has disclosed that his target for JUTH FC to finish among the top four before the league start is still on course as he praised his players for their outstanding display so far in the league.


Speaking ahead of his team’s next game at home to Warri wolves, the Former Kano Pillars and IBB homers FC Coach said he is optimistic they will nick the maximum three points from the Warri side at Rwang Pam stadium, Jos.


He said “I must commend my players for doing well on the field and playing according to instruction, which has been making our job as coach easy. They have really shown character. Our target of making it to top four is still on, we are working towards that, as you know we are yet to lose a match, I am sure we will get our first three points of the season when we host Warri wolves this weekend, the spirit is high in the camp and we are set for the game”

JUTH BOSS ATTRIBUTE SUCCESS TO EARLY PREPARATION

The Vice chairman of JUTH FC of Jos, Mallam Isa Mailafiya has attributed his team’s good run in the four weeks old Nigeria premier league to early preparation and the motivation given to the team by the management team.

He said “I don’t think there is a big deal or any special secret about the good run my team have been showing since league start. Our performance can be linked to the early preparation as well as the good motivation given to our players”

On whether there is any target given to the coaching crew led by Tunde Abdulrahman by the management of JUTH FC, Isa Mailafiya said the team’s performance will be appraised after week six, he commended the technical crew and the players for good performance in the season so far.

He said “The team has been doing wonderfully well. We will appraise the team’s performance after 6th game of the season. So far so good, the team has been playing well, but we need to start winning games especially our home matches to build our confidence more”

WE WILL DO OUR BEST IN MINNA - MEDIA OFFICER


JUTH FC of Jos will be in Minna to battle host, Niger Tornadoes to standstill to get a favourable result when both meet at Bako Kotangora stadium, Minna for week 3 match this weekend.

This was the words of the club media officer, Olusola Alao who said his team has prepare well enough for the game and believe they will go their to do their best and get a result that will be in their favour after the game.

He said "We are doing well in the league, we have not lost a game, so it is not a bad performance, though we would have love to win both games or at least win one but that could not. We are building on our games ahead of this weekend game against Niger Tornadoes. They are one of the top team in Nigeria league but we are equal to the task, the boys are in high spirit and we will be in Minna to do our best and go for points, we have all what it takes in all ramification to be among the top teams in Nigeria and that we are working towards?

JUTH STRIKER, AMANKWEI MAKES NPL TEAM OF THE WEEK


The profile of JUTH FC striker, James Amankwei has continue to soar high as he was named in NPL team of the week for week 2 of the on going premier league season.

The goal monger who netted five times last season in the less fancy National league division 1 has scored two goals in two matches this season and was rewarded as he was named by the league board as the best striker in week 2.

James Amankwei came in as a substitute in first league game away to Sharks FC in Port Harcourt and salvage a point for his team, JUTH FC after he barely spend 10 minutes on the pitch with a bicycle kick which caught the Sharks Goalie napping and recorded a goal at home against Gombe United to secure a point for the healers. He could have made it two in that game but was denied by Gombe United goal keeper.

He is expecting a good game and probably score a goal against Niger Tornadoes in Minna this weekend.

JUTH FC WILL BOUNCE BACK - MEDIA OFFICER

JUTH FC of Jos will return to winning ways, these are words of the club media officer, Olusola Alao.

He said his team was unlucky not to have beat Gombe United but said that is in the past as they are bracing up for the challenge ahead of the team when they take on Niger Tornadoes in Minna.

He said "It is unfortunate that we drew with Gombe United at home, that is bye gone we will return to winning ways.We are prepared to have a good game and good result from Minna where we will play against Niger Tornadoes"

JUTH FC of Jos after an impressive 1-1 away draw to Sharks FC in Port Harcourt, the healers as JUTH FC is called will slug it out at home with Gombe United.

JUTH FC SECURE AWAY DRAW IN PORT HARCOURT


JUTH FC of Jos began the 2010/2011 premier league season on an impressive note pulling an away draw with WAFU cup campaigner, Sharks FC of Port Harcourt.

In the explosive match played at the Sharks Stadium, both teams sized themselves up and home side broke the deadlock in the 76th minutes when veteran striker, Victor Ezeji connect a corner kick with an header to send the home fans into jubilation.

The Healers as JUTH FC is fondly called keep pilling the pressure and were rewarded in the 90th minutes when substitute, James Amankwei scored a spectacular bicycle kick to silence the jubilant home fans.

Speaking after the match, Chief coach of the side, Tunde Abdulrahman showered praises on his boys for a job well done and believe the team will do well in the league.
He said "I must commend the boys, they put in their best and played to instructions. This is a sign of what we can do and we are pose for a good display as the season progress"

The goal scorer, James Amankwei was happy and promised more goals.
He said "it is a thing of joy that I scored the goal that gave us the draw, I will score more goals to help myself and the team actualise our dreams as league goes on"

KELECHI OKOYE TASKS JUTH FC PLAYERS


Former JUTH FC of Jos player, Kelechi Okoye has tasks the players of JUTH FC to be good ambassador of the club and put in their best in all the games.

The Shillong Lajong winger said the players should not take any team for granted and represent the team well, he also said he believe the players will not lack as JUTH FC management is one of the few that take players welfare as the top priority, he urges the players to reciprocate the gesture.

He said "I am happy that my team will campaign in premier league, I am urging the players old and new to be good ambassador of the team. they should put in their best in all games and make sure JUTH win something at the end of the league. I am sure the management will do their best in term of welfare of players as that has been the team's tradition, so the players should reciprocate this with good performances. I am wishing the team all the best"

EX-JUTH PLAYER, KELECHI OKOYE PROPELLED TEAM TO CUP SEMI FINAL IN INDIA


Former Heartland and JUTH FC of Jos player, Kelechi Okoye emerged as man of the match for his team, Shillong Lajong in Indian and scored three goals in two games to sent his team to semi finals of pre season tourney India.

Okoye netted a brace and one assist in his team's 4-0 demolition of Sikkim police team to propelled his side to the Quarter final of the Sikkim Governor's cup 2010 which is a pre-season tournament before league will kick off in India to book a place in the quater final and as well score the lone goal beat BNK OF KOLKATA in the Quarter final game to book a place in the semi final.

Ten teams are participating in the competition which include 0ongc,mohammedan sporting club,three stars of nepal,sikkim police,shillong lajong,bank of kolkata.

He told juthfootballclub.blogspot.com that he is happy with his performance.

He said "I am happy with my performance in the game, I hope it continue when league start. I want to win this trophy because it will motivate us well ahead of league kick off"

WE WILL BATTLE SHARKS FC - MEDIA OFFICER


Media officer of JUTH FC of Jos, Olusola Alao has predicted a tough duel when his team confront Sharks of Port harcourt at Liberation stadium this weekend in one of the week 1 games of Nigeria premier league.

Alao said Sharks FC no doubt is one of the top teams in Nigeria and the sub-region but beleive his team has all it takes to suprise the host and match them in all aspect of the game.

He said "This is a league opener and it is not usually easy for any team playing home or away, Sharks is a big team and playing continental but that does not make my team, JUTH FC inferior to them in any way, we will give them a tough game. We have all it takes to win them, our technical crew led by Tunde Abdul rahman are good, and we have players that are ready for the battle, the management have make provisions for all that the players need to do well, we just pray for luck to compliment our efforts"
