JUTH FC petit winger, Bright Silas has express his happiness over his return to action after been sidelined for several weeks.
Bright who has been out injured for about two months return to action and he is hoping to end the season on a high note.
He said "I am happy that I am back doing what I know how to do best. I was very sad that I could not play for more than a month, but that is in the past now,I hope to do my best in other to make my team win the remaining games"

Moshood brace sink Ocean boys, makes team of the week

JUTH FC returned to winning ways in Nigeria Premier league with a 2-0 win over Ocean Boys at Rwang Pam stadium, Jos. The host took the game to the vistors and their pressures paid off in 36th minute when Moshood Kasali find the back of the net.

On resumption of the second stanza, JUTH FC continue with the incusion as Moshood kasali again scored in 68th minute to make it two.

Moshood kasali has scored 5 goals in the Nigweria premier league.

Meanwhile, his effort did not go unnoticed as he made the team of the week.

No retreat, No surrender

JUTH FC is not given up on retaining its status as a premier league team by the time the league end.

The Media officer, Olusola Alao said though the team is currently placed last on the table but can still survive with favourable results in some games.
He said if the team can win about seven games, they are off the hook.

He said "It is a pity that we are in this situation, but it is not over yet, we will keep fighting till the last day, we are focusing on winning about six or seven games out of the remaining games, the team is one of the most organised club in Nigeria paying the players salaries and bonuses as at when due, even our players sign on fee is constant. I am optimistic we can still make it"

Plateau State Federation Cup defending champions, JUTH FC will face Plateau united in 2011 edition this weekend.

The match is a repeat of last seasons fixture where JUTH FC won 2-0 to win the coveted trophy.

JUTH FC of Jos has threw its technical crew into labour market due to the dismal performance of the team in the on going season.

JUTH FC management rose from a meeting after 1-4 loss to Ocean boys in Yenegoa to announced the sacking of all the coaches namely Chief Coach, Tunde Abdulrahman, assistants, Joshua Stephen, Tony Ubaka and Isa Audu pele. Only the goalkeeper trainer, Hudu Hashim escape the hammer.

JUTH have won only one game in the 17 weeks old league and placed bottom on the table.

JUTH FC Media Officer, Olusola Alao is optimistic his team will beat visiting Sunshine Stars of Akure when they trade tackles at Ranchers bees stadium, Kaduna on Friday.

JUTH FC was relocated to Kaduna for its home games due to the civil unrest that rocked the city of Jos, Plateau state, but Alao said Kaduna is a home to JUTH FC as they have not lost a game there before, he believe his team will build on previous good display they have put up at the stadium.

HE said "We have not lost any game in Kaduna since we have been playing in Premier league, even against Kaduna United, we have played FA Cup there as well winning convincingly, so Sunshine Stars will have their stars dim on Friday because we will beat them, we are building on our previous outing at the ground and we will definitely win them, we have been preparing well for the game and we will come out victorious, our players and mentally, physically fit for the game"

JUTH FC of Jos has picked Ranchers bees stadium, Kaduna as the venue of its home matches as directed by NPL.

The NPL board asked JUTH nad Plateau United to pick alternate venue for their home games due to the crisis that have bedevil the town since the Christmas eve bombing in the city.

Plateau United have equally choose Nnamdi Azikwe stadium , Enugu.
