PROMOTION SPECIALISTS BEHIND JUTH FC SUCCESS

Apart from the effort of the management of JUTH FC led by Isa malafiya as well as the support of the team patron and JUTH Chief medical director (CMD), Dr.Ishaya Pam, the success of JUTH FC at national league division 1 in the just ended season is incomplete without mentioning the coaches.

JUTH FC instant promotion to premier league may come as surprise to many after just a season in Lower division, but the brain behind it are the promotion specialist coaches led by Coach Tunde Abdulrahman assisted by Joshua Stephen Zira and Tony Ubaka.

Before the coming together of the trio, they have at different time led teams to higher level of leagues their brains coming together is the magic neede for the healers to return to premier league.
The Chief Coach, Tunde Abdulrahman who obtain his coaching certificate from Nigeria Institute of Sports (NIS), Lagos in 1992. Also has FIFA and CAF coaching course certificate in 1996 and 1993 respectively.
His coaching experiences which are as follows speak volume of his capacity as a promotion specialist.
He was the General Manager and Chief Coach of Ranchers bees FC of Kaduna between 1993 and 1994 when he led the team to Promotion to PRO 1 from amateur league.
He led Katsina United FC to PRO 1 from amateur divison and to silver medal in National FA Cup in 1996 as the Chief Coach.
He salvage Katsina United from relegation in 1997 and led them to the final of National Challenge cup same year.
He led Kano Pillars to PRO 1 from amateur as the Technical adviser in 2001. He took Jigawa Golden stars to National Challenge cup semi finals in 2002.


The soft spoken coach, Joshua Stephen Zira started his coaching career from the last team he played for, Adamawa United FC in 2001 as the Chief Coach and make an instant impact by leading the team out of relegation. He was appointed as Assistant Coach of sane team in 2002 and he was working in that capacity till 2005, he was part of the crew that led Adamawa united to PRO1 from amateur division in 2005.
He became the chief coach of the team, Adamawa United in 2005/2006 and he led the team to premier league. He was also in charge of the team in 2006/2007 in premier league.
He handled Adamawa Queens Football club, a female team in 2007 and won the promotion ticket to play in PRO league with them.


Anthony Ubaka is another Coach with the team who has Basic football coaching certificate obtain at National institute of Sports, Lagos in 2001.

He led JC Raiders to PRO League 1 from amateur. He was the chief coach of JUTH FC between 2006/2007 which he led to promotion to premier league from PRO 1.

FLYING EAGLES BRACE UP FOR LIBYA 2011 QUALIFIERS


25 Players and 9 Officials of the Flying Eagles returned to camp on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in preparation for the last round of the qualifiers for the 2011 African Youth Championship slated for Libya.

The team will, in the next one month, be perfecting their strategies for snatching a ticket from Mauritius, their last opponent in the qualifiers.

The Flying Eagles will traveltoMauritius to honour an away first leg encounter against the Islanders between 24th to26th September, 2010, and return to Abuja for the second leg a month later.

The Flying Eagles eliminated Junior Sylis Stars of Guinea 2-1 goals aggregate during the first round, while Mauritius bundled out highly fancied Zambia 3-2 on goal aggregate to set the stage for the forthcoming explosive cracker.

Coach John Obuh said for the next one month the Flying Eagles will be targetting how to excel at the tournament and praised his boys for rising above previous challenges. He assured passionate football loving Nigerians that "nothing will stop his side from taking part in the African Youth Championship, as every member of the squad is determined to return smiles on the faces of their countrymen".

JUTH FC START PREPARATION FOR PREMIER LEAGUE


After going on break for 10 days, JUTH FC players will resume training on wednesday 18th August, 2010 for the task ahaed of them.

The premier league returnee will access the current squad and as well bring in some players for trials and possible signing in other for the team to compete welll in the top flight football.

JUTH FC READY TO BATTLE CROWN FOR TITLE


Premier league returnee and National league division1A Champion, JUTH FC of Jos are ready to battle Crown FC, who led the National league division1B table for Champion of champions contest.

The match which will be played at Crown FC home ground in Ogbomoso will decide who is National league division1 champion.

Speaking with cross section of the players at training, JUTH FC players are full of confidence that they can beat Crown in their home.

The Media officer, Olusola Alao said "I wonder why the match was taken to our opponents home ground, but that is an history, that is not distracting us has we have recorded many away victory to reach this level, I am optimistic that we will carry day on Sunday in Ogbomoso when we face home side, Crown FC for the title, our players are in high spirit are ready to do battle and conquer Crown in their home"
