JUTH PLAYERS TO BE PLACED ON HALF SALARY

If JUTH FC players does not improve on their performance in the subsequent league matches, they may incure the wrath of the management.

The management met with the technical crew and decide that the players should show more commitment to justify the huge investments on them by the club.

The management is not happy with the lackadaisical approach of the players to matches and lack of commitment.

The media officer, Olusola Alao while briefing the newsmen after the management meeting said the management is not happy with the way the players play matches as if nothing is at stake and that if they did not chance in next games, they should be ready to receive pay cut.

He said “The management is not happy with the way our players play as if nothing is at stake, they are not committed whenever they are playing despite the huge investment on them. They have been told to turn new leaf or face sanctions. In fact from next match we want to see changes in their performance, we want to see improvement, the dedication and commitment should be felt on the field with convincing victories, or else they will be placed on half salary and half their sign on fee slash to two, we can not afford to throw away the promotion ticket which we have in our hands based on their poor showing”

The players have been warned to be discipline on and off the pitch as that is the foundation on which the club was founded.

“Our players have been told to take discipline a s their watch word on and off the pitch, no unnecessary cards and they should be good ambassador of the team outside the pitch, they have to move closer to God and shun all the vises that can affect them, any one not discipline will pay for it” Alao said
