JUTH STRIKER, AMANKWEI MAKES NPL TEAM OF THE WEEK

The profile of JUTH FC striker, James Amankwei has continue to soar high as he was named in NPL team of the week for week 2 of the on going premier league season.

The goal monger who netted five times last season in the less fancy National league division 1 has scored two goals in two matches this season and was rewarded as he was named by the league board as the best striker in week 2.

James Amankwei came in as a substitute in first league game away to Sharks FC in Port Harcourt and salvage a point for his team, JUTH FC after he barely spend 10 minutes on the pitch with a bicycle kick which caught the Sharks Goalie napping and recorded a goal at home against Gombe United to secure a point for the healers. He could have made it two in that game but was denied by Gombe United goal keeper.

He is expecting a good game and probably score a goal against Niger Tornadoes in Minna this weekend.
